Food contact TPEs and resins
US company DuPont Performance Polymers has introduced FG (food grade) portfolios of engineering plastics and thermoplastic elastomers for food contact applications, which comply with regional regulations including the US FDA, European Food Contact and GMP.

The DuPont FG portfolio consists of Hytrel TPC-ET, Delrin POM, Zytel HTN (high-performance polyamide), Crastin PBT, Zytel polyamides, Rynite PET and Sorona EP PTT.

DuPont says speciality food grade products are being developed from its broad portfolio of performance polymers including its renewably sourced offerings as additional customer needs become evident.
