German company expands its reach

upplier of bulk solids metering equipment Schenck Process is expanding its product range and reach with a stake in UK-based Clyde Process Solutions, a supplier of air filtration, pneumatic conveying and injection technologies.

Schenck says its combined product offering strengthens its position to deliver energy saving and environmental solutions to key target markets.

Clyde was bought by Schenck's parent company, IK Investment Partners, for US$51.8 million. The company's staff strength of 500 spanned locations in the US, Brazil, South Africa, the UK and China, and has now been combined with Schenck that has a total staff strength of 2,600 worldwide.
