Silver additive for products
U
S-based compounder RTP will use Nanobiomatters Industries's patented Bactiblock silver-based antimicrobial technology in its line of antimicrobial products.Bactiblock can be used by processors as an additive masterbatch in a variety of moulding and extrusion processes for furniture, athletic equipment, personal care items, office supplies and housewares. According to RTP, the Backtiblock additive is a good addition to their product range because its unique clay carrier used in the product creates an efficient delivery system for silver ions. Meanwhile, Nanobiomatters, believe that the agreement with RTP allows their additives to reach a broader market.
