Asia’s number 1 and the world’s number 2 plastics and rubber trade fair, Chinaplas is unveiling its new image for its 30th anniversary next year. The new image will comprise a new logo and improved visuals on their materials.

The new logo of 30th edition comprises the Arabic number "30" but is read in the upward direction. As looking at it closely, it consists of three circles but in different degree of fullness, from incomplete circles to a full circle, signifying our progression to perfection and the vision toward sustainability.

The appointed brand partner behind this creative says, "When we came to prepare this logo, we were inspired by the spirit of the team behind the show. Their attitudes in pursuit of perfection, excellence and achievement have impressed us very much. It can partly explain how this idea was sprung up."

Ada Leung, General Manager of Adsale Exhibition Services, the organiser of Chinaplas, says, "The 30th edition will mark a significant milestone for the show. When it was first inaugurated in 1983 in Beijing, China, it was a very small show consisting of barely over a 100 exhibiting booths in some 2,000 sq m of area. To date, the show has been developed to the world's second largest International show and the China's only plastics and rubber trade show approved by UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry), serving over 3,200 exhibitors and some 140,000 professional buyers all over the world."

She went on to say, "The industrial world is changing rapidly and we need to be on the same page with our audience. Chinaplas has put on a contemporary look which is more in line with our transformations. Today, it is more than a trading platform, it is also a place where professionals meet and get inspirations from.”

Leung went on to say that the event showcases applications for the automotive, electrical and electronics, construction, packaging and medical sectors. “Through this image revamp exercise, we hope that our audience can find higher resonance and relevancy to the messages we intend to deliver."

In this year’s edition, concurrent events such as "Design X Innovation", "Industrial Automation Zone" and "Medical Plastics Conference" were held and “were hugely well received by visitors.”

In 2016, Leung says, the show will keep the momentum on the run to bring in more automated, innovative and environmentally friendly solutions to the fairground. “We also look forward to organising more high quality and special activities at the show in commemorating this momentous occasion."

Next year, Chinaplas will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, from 25-28 April 2016.
