Polyplastics sets up base in Indonesia

Japanese resin supplier Polyplastics has set up a representative office in Jakarta, Indonesia, to allow the firm to take a stronger approach to customers in the Indonesian market. Against the backdrop of high economic growth, Japanese manufacturers of automobiles and motorcycles continue to move into Indonesia and expand production to meet domestic demand. Indonesia is also expected to play a larger role as a centre for parts supply. In view of these circumstances, Polyplastics has established the base in Indonesia to provide support for Japanese and local customers.

Polyplastics, which has sales offices in ten countries and four manufacturing plants and laboratories across Asia, manufactures engineering plastics, including PBT, PET, LCP, PPS, acetyl copolymer and cyclic olefin copolymer.
