Top Glove considers buying rival companies
Malaysian glove producer Top Glove, the world's largest rubber glove maker, is considering buying rival companies in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia to strengthen its position.

According to Top Glove Chairman Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee-Chai, the company is undertaking the valuation process, due diligence and studies on several companies, without naming these companies. Top Glove expects the process to take one to three years. Although there is pressure on the company to expand, it will only do so at the right time and price.
